Gissell is a lawyer who graduated in 2017 from the Universidad Autónoma de México. After obtaining her law degree, she completed a Diploma in Business Law.
She began her professional practice in the Departmental Coordination of Resolutions on Trade-Related Infringements at the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property, where she analyzed administrative infractions.
Subsequently, she joined the National Institute of Copyright, becoming part of the team in the Works Registration Office. There, she reviewed and examined works protected under Mexican Copyright Law, analyzing the substance of registration applications.
She continued her professional career in entertainment law, joining the legal team at Estudios TeleMéxico. She applied her legal skills in contracts and negotiations for several series and films, including El Galán, Horario Estelar, Opa Popa Dupa, and La Partitura, produced and distributed on platforms such as Netflix, National Geographic, Disney+, Telemundo, Paramount, and Televisa.
