Esthefania holds a Law Degree from Universidad Anáhuac, with a specialization in copyright and intellectual property. She has experience providing legal advice in key sectors, such as the entertainment industry, digital media, corporate marketing, and international intellectual property.
She began her professional practice at the law firm Basham, Ringe y Correa, where she worked in the intellectual property department, advising international luxury brands, mainly on matters related to copyright and trademark protection. Esthefania joined later the legal department of TV Azteca, where she served as legal advisor for the national digital division. Her career continued at Estudios TeleMéxico, a subsidiary of Fox International Channels and The Walt Disney Company, where she broadened her experience in the legal management of audiovisual content.
In addition, she is co-author of the chapter “Intangible Cultural Heritage under National and International Law: Going Beyond the 2003 UNESCO Convention”, published by Edward Elgar Publishing, contributing to the legal analysis of intangible cultural heritage within the framework of international law.
Currently, her practice focuses on consulting and representing creators, companies in the creative sector, digital media, and startups, offering comprehensive legal solutions in work protection, licensing, contract negotiation, digital compliance, and copyright.
